Sarah LeBeau began her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in July 2014 after earning her black belt in Shotokan Karate. Despite her extensive martial arts background, she questioned whether she could confidently defend herself on the ground. After attending just one Jiu-Jitsu class, she was hooked—and what started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion.
Now a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sarah has competed and placed in numerous state, national, and international tournaments, earning multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals in both gi and no-gi. She is also CPR certified and Self-Defense certified.
As a female black belt and academy owner, Sarah is passionate about empowering women and girls to step onto the mats with confidence while fostering an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.
For Sarah, Jiu-Jitsu is more than competition—it’s family. Her husband and son train alongside her, making it a shared journey both on and off the mats. Her vision for the academy is to create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere where students of all ages can build confidence, relieve stress, and develop the skills to defend themselves if the need ever arise.
